Best gaming laptops review
#1 MSI GS65 Stealth Thin
MSI GS65 Stealth Thin is a beautiful bit of kit, super thin bezels and checks pretty much all tick boxes for a great gaming laptop. It comes with either a GTX 1060 or 1070 Maxq graphics card, 16GB RAM, i7-8750H processor and 144Hz 7ms 1080p screen. The entry level comes with 256GB SSD storage.
#2 ASUS Zephyrus M
The keyboard and touch pad on this model are on comfortable position. This comes with either full GTX 1060 or GTX 1070 graphics card. This laptop supports g-sync which helps reducing screen tearing in games. The bezels are on the bigger side but apart from that the brushed aluminium chassis is one of the best looking. GTX 1070 version is the best one for the price and performance for this model.
#3 Razer Blade 15
The 2018 model of this laptop improved the design, display and its even more powerful. It comes with many options as well, either a GTX 1060 MaxQ or 1070 Max Q, 60Hz 1080p, 144Hz 1080p or 60Hz 4k touch screen option. The 144Hz 1080p option is the best for gaming. Main thing to consider with this laptop is both graphics card are Max Q which are slightly underclocked versions of the full and will lose around 15% performance. However, even with a 1060 Max Q, 1080p gaming will be absolutely fine.
#4 Gigabyte Aero 15
The Aero is not exactly the best looking laptop on this list but it does come with great specs. The 1080p version of this comes with 144Hz refresh rate. Aero 15W comes with full GTX 1060 where as the Aero 15X has GTX 1070 Max Q so you will find that Aero 15X is only slightly faster. The Aero has the biggest battery at 94Whr on this list. This is a great option if you are not too concerned about the look and the odd camera placement.
#5 Acer Predator Helios 300
This is the cheapest one on this list and yet it comes with full GTX 1060, FHD IPS with 144Hz, i7-8750H and 16GB RAM. This is one of the best value gaming laptop that you can buy given the specs.
